True biblical apologetics requires exposing the fatal flaws of a skeptical worldview without adopting its destructive assumptions.
Engaging with skepticism does not mean we must accept its ground rules. If we adopt the shifting, arbitrary standards of critics to argue for the preservation of God’s Word, we lose before we begin. Instead, we gently step into their house, point out that its very foundations are crumbling, and show that without the solid rock of Scripture, there is no basis for certainty at all. We answer the critic by unveiling the bankruptcy of his own worldview, leaving the pure, uncorrupted text of Scripture standing exactly where it always has.

Also consider two different types of fools. I don’t argue with hardened, professional Bible critics anymore. If they have the spirit of a learner ( meekness, humility), I will try to help them. Just my two cents.
