Is Proverbs 26:4 & 5 a self-contradiction?
Also consider two different types of fools. I don’t argue with hardened, professional Bible critics anymore. If they have the spirit of a learner ( meekness, humility), I will try to help them. Just my two cents.
Very true. I believe Titus 3:10 gives us guidance on dealing with those who will not hear.
I believe the context of Proverbs 22 is about our behavior and reasoning - versus dealing those who refuse to listen despite the evidence.
We are told to use "sound speech, that cannot be condemned" (Titus 2:8)
Thank you for the comment!
Yes, they vex my spirit so I quit talking to them. They make me say things I shouldn’t and then my good is evil spoken of.
